first... User Manual and Installation Disc.. and product catalog booklet... which ask you to get more items..


and next is ...nothing interesting... a charger. a battery.. a usb cable..


here is first part.. i believe this would be the Body of a77!.

and it can do some stun too. very flexible tillable LCD .


and come with it. there is a camera strap.. this is way better than a300 strap.


the second package in the box. it's Sony new lens! here's the 16-50 f2.8, my first SSM and F2.8 lens. but then... need to grab a filter for it before using it..


here's the major stuff of the purchase. the a77 meets the 1650 combination. for now... by purchasing a77VQ set is the only way to get access to the sony new 16-50mm lens.

3 Years Photography with Sony Alpha

were doing house keeping, and trying to put everything into a box. and decide to take a photo of the total box.


first bought my alpha back in July 2008. it's 3 years now. and this is the gears that i got now :)

and this dSLR help me to take lot of memory during my outing, trips. it did a very good job for documenting it all down :)

Alpha Convention 2011 Day 3

Due to some reason, i didn't attend for the 2nd day Alpha Convention,so i will skip day day for the alpha convention and directly to day 3. :)


the very first thing i do in alpha convention. Light and Mist of Yuan Yang by Steve Chong.


Dragon and Rabbit. the Dark cloud on the left shaped like a dragon and the golden cloud shine up bu the sun shaped like a rabbit. together.. it form a fine piece of art.

Continue with Steve Chong Light and Mist in Yuan Yang and Grant Corban the famous Wedding photographer. Grant Corban were talking about "Wedding Photography and the business" explaining on how come calculation works before you quote the price.


a list that telling how to price your wedding correctly.. 4.5k is the cost only.. of course.. if you have complete set with you. which is 2 unit flagship dSLR, 1 set of Trinity Lenses (from 17mm to 200mm f2.8) . take 2 years to break even for charging their RM6211 per client. photography really good business??


portraiture session, grab your camera and give a try here.trigger their lightning equipment. haihz.. mine failed to sync with their equipment that day.

and i happen to see this SHARK. ops.. NEX-VG10, the e mount Video Camcorder, an interchange lens handycam camcorder from Sony. it shared all e mount Lenses, means it share Lenses with NEX Interchange lens Digicam Series. alpha series lens also, if add in an adapter for it.


let see what else can be seen in this convention, there is a Thai Dance, Chinese Calligraphy, ohh.RedFM was here too. giving out lots of freebies. there also a booth for portraiture scratching. it's free~


then suddenly something caught my attention.. something white.. 70-200 f2.8G? but it's kinda big compare to 70-200G... could it be...


yupe. this couldn't be wrong. it's SONY 300mm f2.8G !! the ultimate rare lens.

there you go, 300mm f2.8 G lens on NEX-3. almost can't see the camera from front view.the lens managed to fully covered up the camera.


of course.. i don't want to miss a chance to play with this lens. hehehe. it's HUGE!!! it make your dSLR look small.


at first.. i though this lens would be incredibly heavy.. hardly lift it with a mono-pod.. turn out that i'm wrong.. it's lighter then what i'm imagine. i checked the specification of it. it weight 2.31KG.

what? RM24,999? for the lense behind it? serious? of course not this is the price of the Giant white beast. someone put his Carl Zeiss 24-70 f2.8 there as a Mortgage for loaning the 300G lens out to breath some air.

Alpha Convention 2011 Day 1

Sony Alpha Convention 2011 is BACK!!! it's been 3 years since the last Sony Alpha Convention 2008.


This time.. there are much more speaker and more interesting topic to share among all alpharian :D. happy~


so here i am, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. just after my work.


i given Alpha Passport. sound like i going somewhere? oh ya, their title for this convention is "See Asia Through Our Lens".


ohh. there is a List of Seminar Schedules inside the passport. this sure will be very handy :)


and there is some speakers of the Seminar. "Photography" to each of them having different meaning.. everyone do things differently.. maybe that explain why...


here is where the Seminar held. seem like not much people here yet.. because it's Friday? let just wait..


walk about the hall.. there is few booth represent different asia country.. to get a chop at every booth and gain a change to join the lucky draw event.
