[ Taiwan ] Kagaya HotSpring 加賀屋溫泉

What's another famous thing is taiwan? i would say.. HotSpring. almost everywhere. and here we are at 1 of the hotspring..

obviously.. very Traditional  Japanese feels.


inside it also very Japanese feels.


the corridor of the hot spring room. that's our hot spring room.


here's out in door hot spring... it look like a ordinary bathroom to me...


there is dry zone and wet zone, and this is the dry zone.

the hot spring bath tub.


what make a difference is... there is Cold water, Hot water, and natural HotSpring water. you know why you here for, so the HotSpring Water should be released.


we're getting ready for the hot spring :). enjoying the hotspring.. fuh......


just mentioned a little. this is a high tech toilet bowl. the panel of the wall is the remote control.. wash and blow temperature all adjustable through he panel.

that's it for the hot spring experience, honestly.. i feel previous Kylin Peak Hotspring experience is better.

[ Taiwan ] Shifen Old Street 十分老街

after we left the Shifen Waterfall, we travel further up, and we arrived in Shifen Old Street. a street that build surrounded by the train railway. i bet is connected with the railway we saw in Shifen waterfall .


what to do here? remember the Sky Lantern we saw back in Shinfen Waterfall? that why we're here. here is specially meant for Sky Lantern.


there is mini latern that u can buy and keep at home. as souvenir .


write down the blessing phase, your wishes, your greeting, you message to someone. what ever, just write something on it.


different colour have their own meanings. which you write you wishes/dream/vision according to the color section.


Let start our painting session. and it's uses 毛笔(Chinese Brush Pen), gosh.. when is my last time to write words with it? secondary school? and imagine you do chinese calligraphy on wall?!? vertically!


quite a challenge..something special. i realized that.. i having hard time to write a simple Chinese words.. thanks to technology auto spelling feature... in iPhone, how i wish it the auto correct is available here.


hmph.. is the words right?  write English instead. XD


busy with our own lantern. Vandalism is progress.


fuh... done with the writting with Chinese Brush Pen. let take a group photo. careful, train passing through.

OK, there is no train here. let start releasing it to the sky.


light up, heating up, flying up~, that yike and siew fong lantern.

oh.. we did include fire cracker as it tails. look great during night time.

okay.. all sky lantern released.. end of show... our objective in this Shinfen Old Street is consider done.


i found a postcard with picture of massive number of sky lantern releasing into air together. and i bought it. like a scene in Disney animation Rapunzel . i so wish to see the moment whole sky covered with sky lantern...(day dreamin..).

[ Taiwan ] Shifen waterfall 十分大瀑布

Crossing the bridge will lead us to the destination, the Shifen waterfall.


we followed the train trail to get the the destination. and noticed this train trail is still in use. have to be careful don't run into the track while the train is crossing.


here we are, we reach the destination. here is the Shifen Waterfall. let's go in.


we're near. i can hear the sound of the waterfall.i guess that's the waterfall we seeking for?


here is the waterfall! amazing!

actually we can go further down to face the waterfall. and here is the photo taken while walking down.


hualla.. this is the view that i talking about. and this waterfall is well known for some photographer to use as wedding photographer background. not a surprise for a awesome view


hehehe, of course. a photo of us here is a must :p


okay.. sun is setting. is time to make a move, let get ready for next destination.


before our transport arrive. we saw some others tourist is trying to release the sky lantern.


see, the sky lantern released to the air. should look impressive when there is tons of these lantern release into sky. okay. that all for the waterfall. :)

[ Taiwan ] Jiufen Old Street 九份老街

we at Jiu Fen old street, let see what do they sell here. kinda crowded here.


seem like a lot food, snacks, souvenir can be found from here.


fancy stuff can be seen here. included something like this? the milk bottle... just to pull your attention for their business


and i find there is a shoe stall. which they sell unique shoes.


something like this.. massage shoe? they name it as abacus shoe .[算盤鞋]


and more fancy fancy wooden shoe..


some time later.. the street become more crowded.. lunch hours? more tourist arrived?



some fancy items, souvenir ..


Brown sugur winter melon tea? essence? not sure about that.


these is meat balls, what kind of meat? why it's black?no clue... i didn't try it..


a lot ppl surrounded this stall.. i wonder why. let go nearer to have a look.


oh boy! it's Taiwan famous sausage! look delicious. yummy...


hey boss, may i ask......... @.@!!!! (OMGWTFBBQ) scared the hell out of me! and she say.. " anything that i can help?"


they do almost everything to pull customer attention, and this is one of the famous stall in this street. superb friendly. funny. and photogenic... btw, the sausage she sell, not bad too.
