An action-comedy about a simple cook from Chandni Chowk (Akshay Kumar) mistaken for the reincarnation of an ancient Chinese warrior by the villagers of an oppressed Chinese village.
handni Chowk To China is a Bollywood film slated for release on 16th January 2009. It will be directed by Nikhil Advani and stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, with Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty and Hong Kong veteran Gordon Liu also playing important roles. The film is the first Bollywood film to be shot in China. This is Warner Bros. Pictures's second Bollywood film, Saas Bahu aur Sensex (2008) being the first. Watch the trailer of this movie which was initially dated to released 24th Oct. but unfortunately postponed to 16th January.
