Kuala Lumpur Photography Fair 2011

KLPF is here again. and this time.. i'm here to have a look of the sony new a77 dslt camera.


as usual, the entrance are place for photography magazine booth.


woot.. that's that? wait a minutes.. that's that's that what i here for.. the a77!! loaded with battery-grip.


yupe.. that's the 2 camera from sony. first public preview in Malaysia.. here is KLPF. that's a65 on the left and a77 on the right.. guess which camera i might bring home?


here's the a77 new triple hinge tillable LCD. nice huh? i like it!

there is something new in Nikon booth.. this is the Nikon new 1 Series.. is nothing like canon 1 series.. Nikon 1 series is Mirror-less camera. or should i say..new EVIL Camera.. Electronic Viewfinder Interchange Lens.


kinda colorful camera series..it's preview unit only.. no for sales...


talk about fancy EVIL Camera.. Olympus is the winner i would say.. check out their customized EVIL Camera...creative and fancy enough..


camouflage? gold plated? cheetah skin? and Heavy Metal?? wow.. unbelievable...


and here is some blink blink.. flowered. another gol plated? and polar beer? gosh.. is this still camera?


and some booth have their photo shooting session. which also caused the traffic congested


and in another corner.. there is a photo sharing session.. regarding their trip to somewhere.


and surprise surprise... i meet Sok Kim and Penny over there.


walk about.. and i saw a ladder photographer.. carrying his ladder. waiting for stage model shooting i believe.


and another surprise i spotted in this fair.. is the SIGMA professional grade DSLR. the Sigma SD1. it's the rare species i would say.


it's not a fullframe.. but it's Foveon X3 sensor that have huge 46 megapixel on it. and it cost RM 21k.. for a APS-C dslr Camera.. seriously. i think is seriously overpriced. you can get Nikon or Canon Fullframe Flagship dSLR with that price..

And at Lee Photo booth, i spotted something.. a transformer camera? look a like. it have a flexible tripod foot that able to stick on glass. and then able o hold  huge telephoto lens.. great.!


and further exploration.. and i spotted the Samyang 800mm f8. it's such a huge lens.. or should i say.. such a small compact lens.. for it's range league..


there its very popular Lomography camera sold here. if you burn film with lomo style. this is the right booth for you to stop by.

and i like this kind of photo concept. a wall of lomo photos. great idea.. i wish to do this to my wall too.


and last but not least.. model shooting always available.. but.. just too crowded.. and don't feel like shooting model during this time. that's all for the KLPF 2011.

Don'z walk walk at DCIM SHOW 2010

The very first thing you will see in this year DCIM. is the HUGE NIKON dSLR. located at the entrace of the hall.


while walking around some of the booth, i saw a Canon7D with fancy add-on, some equipment that meant for Video recording with dSLR.some of them already calling the HDSLR.


and also their Flagship Canon 1D Mark IV, solid and heavy.. feature? didn't really go test it :p


Leica S2. i did register and give a shoot few picture from this dSLR. guess is the most expansive dSLR currently available. i'm actually holding a Honda Civic in my hand.. (better hold it tight, else.. u pay for a price of Honda Civic for a DSLR.)

of course pretty ladies on the stage lor... recently more and more peoples taking Photography as Hobby... dSLR just like a Trendy Necklace, everyone have 1 on their neck .

Sony Expo 2010, 3D Entertainment Park

There is a Fair happening in Mid Valley, and is SONY FAIR!,


ok lar is SONY Expo 2010, 3D entertainment Park, obviously.. they PUSHING 3D technologies into their products. let see what SONY Have.


Cybershoot Digicam section,Sony Bravia Plasma TV section.


But this room pull my attention, Photo gallery, all selected picture were shown in this gallery.

Let's go further inside.. wow.. my fav parts. ALPHA CORNER,hoping to see something special here.


This time , alpha photography shows the complete Lens sereis, why do i say so? cause the only lenses that i never see, is here.


ah HA! the Sony SAL300mm f2.8G make its appearance. never see ANY SHOP or ANY SONY CENTER have this lens. which cost around RM24,999.00 from their SonyStyle Website


Surprize me when i saw this... never thought alpha 550 were made from Recycle Material. no wonder they feel a little bit (maybe not) plastic.. now i know why... it made from... CDs.....


i did thinking to hang my photos on my wall with lots of photo-frame... but not with SONY S-Frame... this look awesome.. but very costly...


we queue for some event behind the stage. guess what is it?? only showing every 20 mins. yeah.. as the title said lo.. Sony 3D Cinematic. stunning 3D movie clips were shown... erm.. i personally think IMAX3D is more Stunning that this, too bad malaysia IMAX3D Zhap Lap(Bankrupt) jor.. haih..


there you go.. the SONY 3D expo, and once we come out from the DARK ROOM, they trying to promote their Bravia with 3D supported home system. Gaming and... what impressive is they going to broadcast Word Cup in 3D! cool huh? too bad,.. i'm not a FOOTBALL fans...
