How To CrossFade Songs In iTunes

When you are enjoying your favorite tracks one after the other, an abrupt ending of one song before the next one starts may distract you a bit as you wait in anticipation for the next song to begin. Cross-fading of songs gives a smooth listening experience with no breaks. As the first song fades out slowly, the next song picks up in volume, thus having no silent gaps.If you use iTunes for all your music listening, you can set it to cross-fade songs.

In order to Cross-Fade songs,
1. Go to Edit –> Preferences in your iTunes.
2. Select Playback tab
3. Tick the Crossfade Songs checkbox.
4. By default iTunes sets the crossfading time to 6 seconds. Move the Slider to set a Cross Fade time anywhere between 1 and 12 seconds.
