Eleanor Clift catches up to me

Ten days ago I wrote why President Obama will not be challenged in presidential primaries. "They could," I said, "but that would be racist."

It was only slightly tongue in cheek. Now The Daily Beast's Eleanor Clift says the same thing, quite seriously: "Why No Democrat Will Challenge Obama."

Should Obama be primaried? Liberals are fed up with the president, but no Democrat is threatening to challenge him. And one reason, reports Eleanor Clift, is race. ...

“Who wants to feel responsible for costing the first African-American president his reelection?”

It's simply impossible these days to write satire about the Democrats. They'll outdistance you every time.
