Digifriends M3 MID with WiMAX

Digifriends, Korean multimedia device maker, is going to launch in 2H 2009 its M3 Mobile Internet Device that is powered by NextWave’s NW2000 WiMAX chipset. The same chipset can also be found on the dmedia G400 MID.

Digifriends M3 is a MID powered by Intel’s Atom 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and 30GB-60GB hard drive. It has a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, a 2 Megapixel camera and a 0.3 Megapixel webcam. GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR are also supported. You can also find integrated DVB-H/1Seg digital TV tuner.

The M3 will have QWERTY keyboard, mouse buttons and stereo speakers. It runs Windows XP, or Windows Vista or Linux.
